Ten.Seven Hundred & Forty-Eight

  1. I forget to add the blueberry and decide to just sprinkle sugar on top.

  2. The smell of the scones. The sounds of the coffee pot. I am still the only one awake. I treasure the silence.

  3. I have mixed feelings about leaving.

  4. The drive feels long today. Maybe it’s the internal resistance that lengthens the distance.

  5. The pace of today is just right. I’d rather it be slow and steady.

  6. It’s funny to see how folks think that the amount of money they spend in an establishment allows them to be above the rules. That there is some kind of ranking system. But I guess it’s not funny. That’s what’s we’ve been told in our culture: the more money you have the fewer rules you need to follow.

  7. Kind but firm. All the time.

  8. On the drive home I catch up on The Slowdown.
