Ten.One Thousand, One Hundred & Ninety

  1. More like it.

  2. White tee and navy blue joggers. I should get these pants in all the colors.

  3. So many text messages to respond to. I’d rather talk on the phone. But: no privacy.

  4. Thursday means the week is almost over and almost everything is done.

  5. This news is not surprising to me. I was aiming high.

  6. Nothing. I maybe didn’t get it. That’s okay. Like Philippe said, there’s so much to be learned from the failures. But I don’t want to call these failures. It was just the universe telling me that the timing was not quite right.

  7. Making something pretty makes me happy.

  8. This is not about me.

  9. I wash the dishes alone because sometimes that’s the kind of work that puts you at ease. I think of how the kids said that there were kids in Zoom-class today who said their houses burned down. It makes me sad. Ours is still standing though word is there are still spot fires in the neighborhood. And no water. And no sewage. And no electricity. I decide to not think about thinking about when we’ll go home again. She’ll let us know and then we’ll make a plan.

  10. I start to wonder if I am being foolish in my desire to return. I think of Krista Tippet and of the importance of having a long view of time. I think of the cyclical nature of the universe.

  11. How can you fight for what you love if you leave it?

  12. I am working and overworking, and also I like to complete the work of the day.

  13. Never enough time.
