Ten.One Thousand, Two Hundred & Ninety

  1. I feel like I need to take another break. I can’t seem to hear myself.

  2. Day 1.

  3. Lemon and ginger and cinnamon and honey.

  4. He doesn’t want to come, but I know he’ll love it. He always does.

  5. I already want to take a nap and it’s only 10:30. I remind myself that this will wear off.

  6. “This neighborhood is in the middle of nowhere.”

  7. It’s not foggy today which means that there is so much more to see: more cows, more hills, more tilted barns.

  8. I can see the driver looking over towards the water and swerving into our lane.

  9. Up on the sand dune, I find half a wing of some coastal bird and an intact crab shell.
