Ten.One Thousand, Eight Hundred & Seventy-Eight

  1. Five days in a row feeling like we’re on time.

  2. Belgian waffle with strawberries.

  3. The pharmacy is not open yet. We head to the grocery store for a cup of coffee. I am in my slippers. Oh well.

  4. Half decaf, half regular.

  5. Moving slowly through the work piled up in front of me. What is absolutely necessary?

  6. Still feeling sick.

  7. That slight chill in the air.

  8. We wind our way through Pope Valley. Dry grass and oaks, hillsides. In the distance, craggy red mountains. I had forgotten how pretty it is over here. But there is so much beauty everywhere.

  9. I miss the catch but watch him run into the endzone.

  10. A half-eaten moon floats above the gray-black silhouettes of the mountains.
