  2. I lay awake and think about the sequence of events. If I were to lay it all out for someone else, what would they think? I think they would agree with me.

  3. More melatonin to try to squeeze in a few more hours before the 5:30 alarm.

  4. “I just need to know for me,” I say.

  5. Not enough time.

  6. Need less.

  7. “You must have a low tolerance for bullshit.” “I do, and that’s part of the problem.”

  8. Why is wine important?

  9. I tell her that even though I am looking forward to a bit of rest, I am going to miss having them here. I am going to miss the energy of this group; I am going to miss the conversations, the laughter, the insights, the inspiration.

  10. Life is so beautiful and strange.
